Here is another (wonderful) trip to the “29th Annual Celebration of Craftwomen” at Fort Mason. Now in it’s 29th year, The Women’s Building Celebration of Craftswomen offers a unique opportunity to find gorgeous, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, fine crafts, and contemporary art all by women. The show features the work of 300 female artists - 150 different artists each weekend. This event benefits The Women’s Building, a multi-cultural community center where women and girls achieve self-sufficiency and pursue their dreams The first women-owned community center in the U.S., the Women’s Building houses ten diverse community groups and has helped launch more than 160 women’s programs and initiatives in San Francisco.
